Improve Your Daily Life with a Water Fountain

From improving air quality to creating a feeling of tranquility to the area, a fountain adds so much to your life.

Both an indoor and an outdoor garden fountain will benefit you in ways you might not even know. People around the world are compelled to go to coastal cities and major bodies of water, most likely influenced by the fact that our bodies have a high water content. While you could invest in an extravagant beach house or jump in the ocean every day to reap the benefits of water, getting a water feature is much easier and less costly! ft_196__04593.jpg

Upgrade any outdoor area by adding a beautiful outdoor garden fountain. Even if you are already happy with your outdoor area, the introduction of one of the many outdoor fountains available will make you adore it even more. It could be a beautiful addition to the wall of your enclosed porch or outdoors above the veranda. Turn your flower garden into an oasis of serenity by adding a beautiful tiered model. You will notice lots of birds coming to your garden if you put in a birdbath fountain, as the water stays fresher than still water since it is continuously flowing. Add the final touch with the tranquil sound of moving water in your garden.

Water Features for Felines

Anytime your cat hears water running in the kitchen, does he come running? Do you find him guzzling toilet water or pausing before drinking water from his own bowl? Cats do not like to consume water that is not moving, and this act demonstrates this. As a matter of fact, they do not posses a strong natural tendency to hydrate.

Untamed cats get adequate moisture from the meat they ingest. For this reason, an instinctive need for water never developed in felines. Pet cats, however, depend on you for their water, as they do not get the essential hydration from their meals. Cat fountains are an easy way to supply a water source for your pet.

Limitless fresh water will always be available to your pet if you install one. Fountains come in various shapes and sizes, so be sure to buy one that best fits the needs of your cat. One type of fountain has regularly flowing water for maximum freshness whereas others have water which is automatically refilled when the bowl is empty.

What Water Fountains Bring to your Life

Outdoor fountains are ideal inclusions to any home because they contribute so many positives such as healthier air quality, and captivating sights and sounds. They provide many health benefits and create a lovely setting to entertain loved ones.

In the end though, you will most likely discover certain benefits your fountain will provide only to you. It could bring to mind of a happy vacation experience from your past. You might fondly recall someone special when you look at it. You might choose to turn it into a memorial to someone deceased. Regardless, it will be yours and yours alone and also add so much to your everyday life.

Eco-Friendly Fountains: Good for the Planet

Do you want to make your personal space just a little more beautiful? Well, you can add that special touch and augment the price of your home just by adding a solar run water fountain. Solar powered fountains can be a better investment versus electric ones because they not only improve one's health but they offer other interesting monetary perks. While you may spend a bit upfront, the savings that you make in the long-run are worth it. Despite periodic power shortages, your fountain will not be affected as it does not run on electricity.

Constant running water fountains will probably lead to a higher electric bill at the end of the month. Keep in mind that while you may not notice any rewards right away, your home will be worth more further down the road.

The increased prices resulting from using more electricity is not the only factor, it also damages our eco-system. Becoming “green” is just one of the pros of setting up a solar water fountain running only on the energy of the sun. Using solar energy to power our homes as well as a water feature is important because it also safeguards our environment.

This kind of water fountain doesn't need as much upkeep as others.

These fountains require less maintenance than other kinds. Clogs don't occur since there is no motor - which leads to less cleaning. Which ultimately means more time to chill out in your yard.

Water Features: Great for Wildlife

Wildlife and pets are by nature attracted to bird feeders and water fountains. Birds need to have water to drink, bathe in, as well a place to groom, or preen. Birds including robins, thrushes, orioles, or warblers favor the motion of water from a fountain and are not necessarily drawn to bird feeders. Birds are often drawn to outdoor fountains because of their flowing water rather than the standing water found in bowl-shaped bird baths. Trickling fountains which spatter water have a more detectable sound, this attracting even more birds.

Dogs are attracted to fountains mainly because they provide another source of water. Dogs and cats will be outdoors looking out for refreshing water during hot temperatures. Because water in fountains is consistently moving, they do not need much maintenance, whereas the still water of birdbaths collect debris and require more care.

The Advantages of Photovoltaic Outdoor Garden Fountains

There are various power sources which can be utilized to power your garden wall fountain. Ecological solar powered fountains, which are now easily available, have substituted older fountains which run on electricity. Although solar powered water fountains may be the most inexpensive long-term option, the initial outlay is in fact higher. The most frequent materials used to make solar powered water features are terra cotta, copper, porcelain, or bronze. This wide array of alternatives makes it easier to buy one which matches your interior design. If you are looking to have your own garden retreat, these kinds of fountains are ideal because they are easy to maintain and also have a positive effect on the environment.

Indoor wall fountains are a superb option to cool your home as well as to provide an enticing addition to your surroundings. An alternative to air conditioners and evaporative coolers, they cool down your home by using the same techniques. You can lower your power bill since they consume less electricity.

Fanning crisp, dry air across them is the most frequent way used to benefit from their cooling effect. You can either take advantage of air from a corner of your living space or turn on your ceiling fan to better the circulation in the room The most critical consideration is to make sure that the air is continuously flowing over the surface of the water. It is natural for fountains and waterfalls to generate cool, fresh air. You will experience a sudden coolness in the air when you come near a big waterfall or fountain. Situating your fountain cooling system in a spot that is especially hot reduces its efficacy. If you are looking for an efficient cooling system, it should be placed away from direct sunlight.

Chatsworth Gardens and the Revelation Water Feature

“Revelation,” the latest acquisition to the decorative outdoor fountains of Chatsworth, was planned by recognized British sculptor Angela Conner. She was delegated by the now deceased 11th Duke of Devonshire to make a limited edition bust of Queen Elizabeth, in 2004/5 in commemoration of the Queen’s 80th birthday celebration. One of Chatsworth’s oldest ponds, Jack Pond, had “Revelation” mounted in it in 1999. Taking the form of four large flower petals which open and close with the circulation of water, the metallic water fountain alternatively hides and reveals a golden globe at the center of the sculpture. A gold dust colored steel globe was created and added into the large sculpture standing five meters in height and five meters wide. The petals move based on the circulation of water, making this installation an interesting addition to the Gardens of Chatsworth.
